I love autumn. The trees in Colorado look beautiful right now. And this time of year is a great reminder of how God works in our lives. “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1).
If I’m in a season that isn’t particularly pleasant in some way, it helps to remember that God will not let it be without a purpose. And it helps to remember this promise: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” (Galatians 6:9). When we put our trust in the Lord, He will use our current season to prepare us and store up blessings for the next. And in due season, we shall reap!
