A European Vacation

Some of our good friends from church have to be in Denmark for about three months for business, so my friend Steph and I decided to visit them recently. So glad we did! It’s officially my favorite vacation ever. It was the perfect blend of relaxing, sightseeing, traveling and spending time with our friends. Plus lots of great shopping and eating! Here’s a taste of our trip:

Tivoli inspired Walt Disney as you might be able to tell

Beautiful lights come on throughout the park at night

Frederiksborg Slot is a 17th century castle in Denmark. Loved walking through it and the beautiful grounds.

Several of our friends’ kids were able to dress up, and we tried our hand at writing liked they used to. Such a great day!

  1. MAGICAL. Completely. Cobblestone and twinkly lights. Fire on the beach? Seriously?? I’ve always wanted to try writing with a quill and an ink pot. The one bedroom looks like Princess Ana’s from Frozen. :)) The Copenhagen shots on the water remind me of the crisp colored houses lined up in Amsterdam. Also I think melting chocolate sticks in my coffee should become a ritual.
